G Camp Live Sessions

Whisper with the grace to go unheard As deadly as a kiss upon your neck In every foreign breath I hear motives and footsteps The sun hugs your exposed skin and barges in the same way we all let people in unceremoniously penetration comforts green Today I'll satiate my wants and needs because we're all the same assigning meaning Wouldn't it be a shame if you couldn't advertise yourself or your fucking trip to Spain? I've climbed atop of mountains of self pity to find that the trees watered from weeping block the view And I can only guess that the foreign breath's stench is not as sweet as it seems but yes, I'll take it Today I'll satiate my wants and needs because we're all the same assigning meaning Like a bird of prey Striking from a great height Survey, then penetrate With teeth stained with cum and coffee We'll be content someday There always is someday But isn't that the way that we want it to be?

I wonder if the bear had severed his spine left his body numb to the swipes, free from pity and pain As the bear completed its task completely within its rights But, Timothy, he knew that His acceptance fueled by a Contempt for love A martyr for nothing Dismembered by the only thing you trust I feel an affinity with Timothy's Wrist With watch attached, still ticking away Uneaten, it is all that had remained And I relate in the way Timothy was killed by his love but not betrayed If you point a finger Make sure its clean and you know who to be when the light tightens on your scene The poetic ignorance of jealously and envy makes it hard to be a decent human being But Timothy was At least I hope he was Decisions are all you have So you'd better be sure But I'll never be Just pussyfooting for me Dismembered by the only thing you trust I feel an affinity with Timothy's Wrist With watch attached, still ticking away Uneaten, it is all that had remained And I relate in the way Timothy was killed by his love but not betrayed

Four blue walls hold onto a memory Of a morning I was woken with shouts Sleeping in again, only time could permeate the sounds of a father staring off past every one of us Fifty years exist only in memories now And there I stood, just trying to think of some As a real man faded away in his own home And it is there we waited Nothing right to say, in faith or in hope Though it wasn't a surprise, it's hard to watch a father die Now in the room of his final labored breaths I waste my time The purest thing that I could ever know In palpable sadness raised her hand to close Those lifeless eyes

about

G Camp Live Sessions is the culmination of a group effort between us and several very good, and talented, friends of ours. We've had the idea for quite some time to film and record a live sessions performance back in the gorgeous and sacred wilderness of where we grew up (Seneca Allegany Territory). Now that it is finally all put together, we are blessed and excited to be able to share it with you all. All three songs are brand new and were recorded live on 10/19/2019 at G Camp in Steamburg, NY.
